[My top 5] Best books on dating and attracting a quality man

If you’re single and looking for the man of your dreams, I’m sharing some of the best books on dating and attracting a quality man in your life. Why? Well, because I read them all. And then some. I followed several postcast-ers and relationship coaches back when it was a fresh and not-so “typical” thing. Yep, there was a point where it just wasn’t “sexy” to take accountability for your Love life – people were convinced that Love should simply come their way organically and/or fall in their lap [without any effort].

And why am I recommending these reads? Respectfully, I don’t believe we come into this world or grow up equipped with the knowledge in dating, relationships, and even marriage. Sure, there are certainly “role models” we look up to and strive to be, and hopefully (maybe) your parents or caregivers were the prime examples in painting that picture for you. But on an individual level, there’s simply more to it than that, and it’s only something we will each figure out from personal experience.

I read plenty of self-help and “empowerment” books in my young adult years and still do today as a married woman because I believe attracting the right partner is also about being the right partner. I even went as far as creating a Relationship Wellness Journal and Activity Workbook because I believe in the power of accountability and how it shapes every aspect of our lives. So loving, honoring and healing is, IMO, a constant and first step in allowing quality Love into your life.

The Dating Manual: A workbook guide to navigating the modern dating sh*tshow

Created by “muah” and made FOR YOU. I didn’t make this my #1 simply because of bias, but because this is actually an interactive workbook, much less a read for you to continue ongoing throughout your dating journey. And that’s just it, while dating with intention focuses so much on an end goal – that’s a mentality I want to change. Dating is a process, it IS a journey – full of, yes, difficult and at times debilitating lessons and pitfalls, but it should be combated with some of the best and most memorable experiences.

So what is the point of this workbook – dating with intention. It means zero games, zero wasted time, zero bullsh*t, and more dating through self-love in this ever-evolving modern dating world.

Deeper Dating: How to drop the games of seduction and discover the power of intimacy

A truly unique and unconventional approach to modern dating today – that requires you to be willing to step out of comfort and sitting with the “uncomfortable”. Yes, being vulnerable means to let your guard down, and instead of dating from face value, Ken Page emphasizes the use of our natural core gifts in attracting the very love you long for.

Because if you’re longing for that soulmate, you need to lead in dating with your soul.

Never Chase Men Again: 38 Dating secrets to get the guy, keep him interested, and prevent dead-end relationships

Whew – a title packed with a punch!

This one is a self-respect-focused guide in helping you hook the guy that takes you seriously instead of playing you like a fiddle. You’ll learn exactly what you need to know when it comes to what a readily committed man is actually looking for in a woman, how to keep him interested (and to avoid knit-picking reasons to throw away a perfectly good relationship because you’re “bored”; PSA: healthy relationships are not “boring” – that’s called Peace), and to understand dating as a whole from the male perspective… without ever needing to chase him down.

Men Don’t Love Women Like You: The brutal truth about dating and relationships

Ouch. Talk about tough love, though very tongue in cheek, so please don’t shun the book by the title just yet.

This book helps you discover the love you deserve all from the very power you hold from within. It’s about taking control of your fears, understanding male and female dynamics, and manifesting the love you truly want without the same old dating sales pitch or online dating gimmicks.

If you’re all about the masculine and feminine energies, and how they work in the balance, then this one may be for you.

Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dream Girl―A woman’s guide to holding her own in a relationship

A personal fan favorite, and re-read over a handful of times! It’s another tongue in cheek – obviously, from the title – that encourages every woman in becoming a Babe In Total Control of Herself.

For the woman who feels she is too nice, her standards are “too high” or too low, gets taken advantage of or has a difficult time setting dating boundaries (<- a MUST READ) – everything you need to empower your love life is in this manual. You will learn to stand your ground in self-respect, own and embrace your self-worth, relate with men on new levels and gain respect, love, and devotion by working smarter, not harder.

I even wrote a more detailed review on this book (I love it THAT much), which should be enough convincing.
