2tspnutmeg
2tbspmilk(plant-based works, too)
1 1/2tbspvegetable oil(or coconut oil)
1tbspwarm coffee(completely optional)
Dump Cake Garnish/Topping
caramel (sauce)
whipped cream
ice cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F and butter your ramekins.
Wash, peel and chop apples into small chunks and place in a small bowl with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar (refer to the apple filling ingredient amounts). Stir to combine.
Half the apple filling mixture into each ramekin and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add in the wet and dry [dump cake] ingredients (refer to the dump cake ingredient amounts), including the chopped walnuts.
Pour contents into each ramekin over top the apples. Drizzle caramel on top of the mixture before placing ramekins on a baking dish (for even baking) to bake for 20-25 minutes.**IMPORTANT: everyone's ovens are different, and depending on what size ramekin you use (or if you used a different baking dish), baking times and optimal temperature for this dish can vary. Because of this, personally, I follow the 350 for 25-30 minutes for every ~1.5 inch depth rule (so if your cake sits 1.5-inch thick in the pan).
Once cooled, top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, more caramel, and chopped walnuts. Enjoy!
